We have witnessed internet users in Muslim world adopting different strategies in reaction to “Draw Mohammad” (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa-aal-hi-Wasallam). Millions of Muslims are protesting against the intents of a community on Facebook that is planning to conduct a contest for Prophet Mohammad’s Drawings.
What will happen on Draw Day?
On the 20th, people will post pictures on Blogger, LiveJournal, wordpress.com, vox.com, TypePad, Flickr, Picasa, imgur, yfrog, twitpic, and of course, on their own blogs and in videos on Youtube and elsewhere. But again, Facebook is the root cause.
Why Draw Day is Worst than Previous Blasphemous Acts?
This instance of blasphemy is not like what it had happened before in Sweden and Norway. We know that there are websites that spreads blasphemous content across the web.

The teledensity of wireless telephony services has registered a slight increase of 0.1 percent in the country after a period of six months. It reached to 1.7 percent by end of November 2009, latest statistic of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) showed on Friday. The overall Wireless Local Loop (WLL) connections increased to 2.72 million across the country on the network of eight operators by November. (more…)

The growth in the mobile sector of Pakistan has been more then 100 percent on average in the past seven years. The economy of the country has benefited greatly from this sector and there is still potential for more growth. In 2009 Telecom sector has made enormous progress especially in the last 2 quarters of the year. In November 2009 the increment of new mobile subscriber has been reported about 800K which makes the total of 96.7 million cellular subscribers in 2009. (more…)
